There are three basic positions that must be taken in order to walk.  The extended position, the recoil position and the passing position.  3rd John covers these three positions.  The extended position is a position of hospitality.  The recoil position is a positiion of prayer and the passing position is a position of passing on an example to others.  You can not walk as God intended unless you constantly assume these three positions as a way of life.  Jesus loves you and wants to follow him.  Walk as he walked.
